Consultation

We begin with a conversation over Zoom, supported by WhatsApp and email exchanges as ideas evolve. This stage is about getting to know you, your inspirations, style, and the mood of the occasion you’re dressing for.

Design Collaboration

Amelia sketches initial ideas, and together the concept is refined until it feels perfect. Every drawing, fabric, and silhouette is chosen with your personality and occasion in mind.

Fabric and Detail Selection

Amelia sources fabric samples and presents them to you, so you can see and feel the options before deciding together on the final choice. From textures to colours to finishing touches, every detail is considered.

Fittings

Each bespoke garment is handmade by Amelia, with fittings held in her Hampshire studio or at your home. To refine the fit, a toile (mock-up version) of your design is created in a similar fabric and different colour. While simpler in finish, it’s yours to keep, offering a thoughtful and sustainable “two-for-one” addition to your wardrobe.

The Final Piece

Your finished garment is tailored perfectly to you and made to the highest standard, a true one-of-a-kind creation. This is a statement piece designed exclusively for your occasion, to celebrate you and your special moment.

○ Paid upon completion of the bespoke piece.
○ Covers construction, finishing, and any additional materials or detailing.

4. Total Starting Price: £2,000+

Do you take on wedding commissions?

Yes! Kodai is best known for bridal outfit changes, from show-stopping party dresses to chic Day Two ensembles. While Kodai isn’t a traditional wedding dress company, we welcome bespoke bridal commissions. If you’re looking for a unique, unconventional design that reflects your personal style, we’d love to create something truly one-of-a-kind for your special day.
